Very original, but not for me like you stated for some. I feel the movement was awkward because of key placement but overall it works. the graphics for dying surprised me but was an interesting choice.
Can't blame you, honestly I just tried laying out the keys like I saw for some older flash games. But I do think the game would feel a lot better on controller.
