Did you get the game from my patreon or some other site? If it's from someplace else, I have no way to help. I don't know what kind of things those places put in the files.
i got it from patreon. i played it again and ended up having no issues. i think it may be a problem with my computer that i'll need to look into. sorry for the trouble and thanks for your responses!
