Which version of Android or Windows do you have? If Android I wonder if this coincided with me targeting a slightly newer version of Android (although I always stay a few versions behind).
EDIT you mentioned your computer so you might be playing on Windows? I haven't ever changed the Windows version so I can't explain any problems.
Yes it's on Windows and I honestly can't tell what happened, either. I never changed anything regarding the files and always removed the old version before starting the new one. Genuinely curious about what might have happened - but I guess the Windows tech support is not your job at the end of the day :)
