1. what would the Steam version cost then. 

2. I would actually like to play this now, because otherwise I wouldn't ask.

There's a lot more Windows users and they can test the game already. Linux users (minority here, I think) will have to pay. I just don't get the logic. While it's just Python, can't it be done for Linux (and maybe even Mac) from the beginning? I'm just curious.
