People are angry with this decision, but I just went to throw my 2 cents into the void.
It's the good decision. No shakily built foundation will last long, to make a few omelettes you need to crack a few eggs. And just repeat the same thing, you need to make some shit to learn some shit. The dev team seems to be open to talking, and they seem to be eager to make a proper game, so why not let them go at it with what they believe will be a better product and see how that goes
