True, like, pronouns are just pronouns. It doesnt really help with immersion if i still feel that other characters treat MC like different gender than they is. It is quite easy in English to accomoddate various pronouns, but writting the whole thing in gender-neutral way so it feels fitting regardless MC pronouns is other thing, and it is not that common.
