Real fun overall, and the art is cute and clean. I appreciate the decision to stick to such a limited color palette, but the enemy projectiles blend in identically to the enemy death explosions in a way that doesn’t really feel fair, maybe an outline or animation or something instead of a simple lighter orange circle would’ve been nice - the other color from the death explosions blended into the background signs, but that wasn’t a gameplay problem so much as just weird visually.
I couldn’t see any reason not to always hold down left click - I had assumed that the fire modes were an either/or thing, so for the first few attempts I had no idea how to do the super jump which is definitely fun - so I wonder if it’d be improved by just always firing without the need to hold down a mouse button?
There’s the things we always wish we had more time for in jams (more enemies, maybe upgrades, etc.) but this is a really great little game, good work!
