Jade, is no longer the cute naive girl I hate her new look. She now has a fat rounder pudgier face and the innocence that was hers is gone. Every time I try to restart I just see her and want to cringe and I can't go any further. Her new look just plain SUCKS. She looks like an adult now not an innocent young girl. It's so bad that I can imagine heavy makeup and she would look like a slut.

No her face is wider and her eyes look different more mature. The shape of eyes make a huge difference and I don't like the very round face from removing her neko angular features.
The current Jade detracts from her more youthful appearance now to someone in mid 20's.
Her appearance changes her entire aura.
Cats tend to have more angular lean features and removing that sharper chin that was lost.
Changes I noticed that changed her entire aura. These changes make her look like she has experienced the world already for several years. These are changes in drawing that is used to age characters during a story.
Eyes have changed enough to age her appearance. First one she looked young innocent. Now second she has aged and she looks in mid to late 20's with the addition of a bit heavier eye shadow. Makeup is used often in 2D drawings to either show someone is a slut like a Gyaru or that someone is out in the world now working for a living. Her eyes look a bit narrower and that is also used to show age and if a person they lean towards evil they tend to become sharper also which fortunately was not done for her.
Cheeks wider again usually typically changes from narrower cheeks to wider cheeks often used to show age. I think this generally comes from the idea as they age people gain a bit more weight when it comes to Anime.
Hair style change now has an older more mature hair style. That would not be used for a young innocent girl hair style in the Anime style
Sure they are little changes but in Anime these are changes used to show character age. Animators/Artist don't have a lot of ways to change age of a 2D characters until they are really old so they adopted subtle changes. The changes you did effectively aged Jade by at least 5+ years. A slow progressing to the new design would be good in story if you go by 1 year periods in game showing that she is getting more mature, wiser in the ways of the world, and slowly losing her innocence.
Prior of her she looked to be in her 18-19 years of age. Current looks she she appears to be around 25-27 years old and should not even be in school but out working for a living.
Dude, I'm telling you, lol... only her hair changed and eyeshadows are more apparent. She's still 20, and she had eyeshadow before, just not as noticable. I changed nothing about her body at all, not even her head or face. Keep in mind that just because she looks different doesn't necessarily mean she'll act different. She'll still be that loveable bookworm that everyone loves
Edit: Okay, I did make her and Jasmine's skin less pale, but that's all I did for Jade! Lol
