Haha well I can give you and pro tip.
Keep holding the jump button when you touch the finish flag, that way the character will stay at the same height on the next level as long as you keep holding jump. You can use it to take some shortcuts or speedup the level transition section in this game :)
This glitch works with all pocket platformer games atm. Enjoy haha!

OHHH this is really big thank you so much for sharing that! i always felt like the "shortcuts" in the underground levels (i think you know what i mean) were a little inconsistent!
