I want to run tests to see if the gems can either be crafted into something on the anvil using different types/amount of ingots. Also try them out on the workbench to see if they can be combined with any combination of weapon pieces.
I'm guessing they have a function because the developer should come out and say if they are just test objects left in the game for an easter egg like the zebra ball in astroneer.
It would be great if you could confirm or deny if they have a function or purpose other than cosmetic.
