I just ran this last night and it was honestly so much fun and super well-written. My favorite thing about Swineheart Motel is the layout and legibility in play, it was easy for me to quickly find information I needed in the moment and reference key information right before the session started.

Major brownie points for the descriptive and snappy text for areas, horror elements, and anything revolving the Swineheart itself.  My players were piecing things together with all the well-placed context clues and the map helped them cement themselves in the location quite easily.

My few minor complaints are related to the previous comment revolving around the pool and hunting party, but if you think about it ahead of time, you can come up with creative solutions to fill those holes.

Overall, I highly recommend this mystery for those who want a taste of slasher horror!

Thank you!! They were a lot of fun to work on!

Haha, if you're certain! I wasn't really sure how to best approach this or other jams before, so I'm really excited to work in this one! Brave Zenith is one of the few games that sparks a lot of ideas for me! : )

Hi there!

I'm new to the TTRPG Jam scene, but not new RPGs. I was wondering if there was any particular etiquette in regards to creating things for jams?

Brave Zenith is a fun game and setting, ripe for ideas to build some zany stuff for it. I've already written quite a few things down for the various categories, but I want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes while working on my entry for it. Last thing I want to do is seem like I'm directly copying others ideas by accident, or be redundant with my ideas.

Sorry if this seems a silly, as I said I have never really participated in one of these jams, and I don't know where folks might be talking about this cool game and jam!

Oh man, I'm so excited! I can't wait to get back home and check out the full rules next week!

I need to do a deeper dive on this, but from what I've read so far this is really well done and exactly what I've been looking for. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more stuff like this in the future if you're interested in making additional material. Great work!

I think this is pretty great! I love how well this boils down a lot of the concepts from FitD and uses only what is truly necessary. It's going to make picking up and playing with a group really fun. I personally can't wait to run a one-shot or two with this soon!
