REALLY good. The movement is very nice. Visually you nailed the n64 style really well and i like it and also i like the characters and the art direction in general.

Some small things i ran into though:

  • One thing that annoyed me at first though is it's too easy to press shift for slightly too long and end up rolling off some things instead of ground pounding. I accidentally rolled off 2 switches at first and had climb all the way back up to properly ground pound them. Maybe the roll should also act as a ground pound? Or the roll should have a longer start time. Idk i still like the controls as is currently.
  • Also i didn't know about the glove mechanic at first, only after you brought it up in the tower. My friend said i "needed an item" so i thought i unlocked it later but I just didn't know. You should mention it in the controls section of settings. Maybe a indicator of what key i need to press next to the glove icon would also be nice.
  • The low health beeping gets kind of annoying. A way to regenerate health would be nice. Maybe those jacks could slowly regenerate your health as you collect them?
  • I managed to somehow superposition myself into grabbing two ledges at once which makes Newman freak out. i don't know how to reproduce i just jumped  there.
  • I also managed to break the pause menu so its visible when the game is unpaused but invisible when the game is paused, so i can't click anything on it. i don't know how to reproduce this one either, i think it happened during the intro after i pressed "play demo", i was pressing keys. i wish i could help more :-(
  • Personally I would like to be able to zoom out so i can see more of what's around me. Just saying.

Overall though, the game is fun, i like it, and i would definitely like to see more of this. Thank you for releasing this demo :-)

Where's the Linux version? I don't see it anywhere.
