Getting some people together to develop projects as a team. Everyone is welcome but preferably from North America for time zone sake. We can discuss projects as a team and hopefully make some stuff we are proud of! Keeping each other accountability during the development process as well. I am hoping we can get 7 to 8 people! Main focus would be 2d action games of any kind.
I have 3 years of programming experience in C# and Python. I have a good understanding of Godot using inheritance, compositions, signals and resources.
Getting some people together to develop projects as a team or, if its the right fit, I would be happy to join a team! Everyone is welcome but preferably from North America for time zone sake.

I am finishing up organizing everything for my game! and thought i might try to build a team before i start development!
This will be a non-profit studio and I have planned to release in just over a year. Although, things can always change.
What is the project about? I am about to start development on a top-down cyberpunk/retrowave/post-intergalactic war action RPG. Style will be some sort of pixel art, haven't quite decided yet. The project will be made with GDScript which is used by the Godot engine. Godot is very intuitive, there will not be discussion about what game engine is being used. However, I am completely up for new ideas and concepts.
Who am I looking for? Programmers or artists! People who can be apart of a team without toxic behaviors, as this will be a committed volunteer project. This means all the weight of the game will be put on the team. Bottom line, don't be a shitty person and see everyone as your equal.
What are my expectations? Even though this is a volunteer project, I expect professionalism from everyone. I also expect, if you join us, that you are committed as you can be. I'm not going to assign you hours, but I will expect some contribution each week. Unless I allow an exception under certain circumstances, if you aren't contributing then I can't keep you on the team. This is my project and I am inviting who would like to join.
What makes me qualified? I have been programming on and off for about 2 years now. I finally have more time to sink into it so about 5 months ago I picked it up with the intent to make something amazing. I have determination and passion as well. I have worked on plenty of teams in all kinds of subjects. Aside from those humble side notes, I have no professional programming experience.
Why should you join? There is no selling point besides a passion for game development, being a part of a team and wanting to learn more or help others.
Do you need experience in programming to join? Absolutely not! Artists must be experienced though as I cannot teach how to draw lol
