Thanks, Mary!

Hi! Currently, that is actually the end of the game.  We're planning on adding most post-jam, but this is actually really helpful feedback to understand that we should add some clarity to what happens there! Thanks :)

What's the official word on making minor fixes/updates to the game (bug fixes, animation glitches, etc.) after submitting? I know other jams tend to be pretty lenient and allow you to do so, but I've also done jams where that's not allowed. Is it allowed here?

I'll definitely give it another go after an update - thanks for the resource links and explanations!

No problem! Yeah, what you did was great I think it was the right move to prioritize what you did. I definitely echo the sentiment of "if only it was 2 weeks" because, while my team was happy with our project, we know it could have been so much more given 2 weeks! Wishing you all the best in your future game dev endeavors :)

This is a really solid entry! It has very nice UI, a good visual style with pleasing colors, and feels fairly responsive. Nice work!

Some feedback:

- A more unique background might help the game develop a more distinct visual identity! I could tell it was just the default Godot empty scene background as soon as I launched it.

- I found it very difficult to orient myself to what was "flat" with respect to the ball rolling. This made things on the "keep it steady" level a little tricky.

The puzzles were, in my opinion, very well designed. I think you should be really happy with this project :)

Such creative use of the theme here - awesome work. This is really, really creative and it's very clear a lot of thought went into this! I love the bird theme and your parodies of celebrity culture + the humor of bird mafia families played completely straight is awesome.

Some bugs I noticed:

- Organization/victim/method etc. names were sometimes duplicated

Other feedback:

- A way to snip specific threads other than taking the card all the way off the board to snip all threads at once would be great. I made multiple accidental connections that cluttered up my work area.

- Mouse-over areas on cards feel a little too big. That's why I made those unintentional connections above/it made moving things around less precise.

- I couldn't tell if moving the papers was done by a single click, then moving the mouse or holding and dragging. Both seemed to work but inconsistently.

These are very, very minor gripes purely in the spirit of improving player quality of life. What you have here is really, really special and I think you should absolutely continue development. Eager to see what's next :)

This is an awesome spin on Snake! Kind of the perfect level of difficulty, too - very engaging. I love the music! Is your code available anywhere? GitHub perhaps? I'd love to check it out!

Not sure I have any specific feedback, it's very well put together! If anything, one suggestion for further development could be to have different kinds of food that allow you to temporarily pass through the fish, increasing the spawn-rate of the fish food, etc. Basically varying up the gameplay. But those are just suggestions and what you have here is a very well-functioning, engaging game. Nice work!

This is fantastic! Such an incredible amount of personality and charm here. Awesome work. Two questions because I want to learn from you:

1. What did you do to achieve the graphical style? A combination of Shaders + Lighting? Filters? I'm unfamiliar with highly stylized graphics like this, so any pointers would be great!

2. What did you use to move the camera in the ways you did? The movements seemed too detailed to be manual/unassisted by a library (I could be wrong, though!).

3. Is your code/project available on GitHub? I'd love to check out how you approached it.

I only wish it had been a little longer! I also ran into a text scaling issue where the text was too big for my screen on the notes that were on the doors of the house (I have a 1440p screen for reference).

Really enjoyed this - great job.

Don't call your games bad! You did the same on your last submission - if you think it's bad, how can anyone else appreciate it? Have some faith :)

I think it's a cute game and I enjoyed it. It works really well for what it aims to do! I actually really liked how the hammer and axe felt loose/flimsy around the character - charming.

Some feedback: I was unclear on what the numbers on the bridges meant, but eventually figured out it was the amount of wood I needed. Could use some tutorialization, and maybe a UI element displaying current wood + amount of wood you get from each tree.

Wishing you all the best in your future game endeavors! :)

This is lovely! Very cute art. I ran into one issue where the music stopped playing on Day 2. The controls and how to play are super intuitive and simple , which is great. I think it may have also been cool for the player to need to consider how the rooms were laid out, which rooms were connected to which, etc., but I think you were smart to keep it in scope for the jam. Really, really enjoyed it!

Fun game! Love the music. I did have a little trouble understanding the controls (especially R to rotate) as well as which house icon corresponded to which destination. I love the artwork too and it reminds me of flash games on older sites like miniclip (which is a good thing!!). I enjoyed it :)

Thank you so much for the feedback! We'll look to incorporate it :)

Hey OJ. It looks like you may have uploaded the wrong file. The way we did it was to zip your build directory and upload it as one file.

A top-down dungeon crawler. Currently in development.

Using Keyboard & Mouse is currently recommended. In the process of adding controller support.
