Can absolutely confirm, that fight is just NOT a fair battle. Shadow Mons losing ALL weaknesses, AND having guaranteed super effective moves on EVERYTHING is NOT balanced. Both Shadows having extremely frustrating dual side hitting moves is just NOT fair or balanced.
I'd suggest, instead of making them lose EVERY weakness, make them have normal weaknesses, that way it's, y'know, balanced. That or lower their level a bit, or reduce their team sizes. That fight being a forced double, with 2 FULLY EVOLVED shadow mons?! Not fair or balanced
My main tip for speeding up levelling, is ADD MORE AUDINO IN THE LEVEL UP LADY
LIKE HOLY FUCK ONLY ONE AUDINO AT A TIME IS FUCKIN INSANE AND STUPID AS FUCK
Extremely infuriating bug. At random an enemy will decide, it does not want to be fought. But you can not leave battle. If has gotten so bad that now the enemy "line" is BEYOND THE BORDERS OF THE VISIBLE PLAY AREA. If I add another Villager to it, they almost instantly die due to the difficulty of fighting THAT MANY ENEMIES. Currently trying to just get a STUPID amount of Sheds[or maybe warehouses if I have the patience]. The enemies also take up almost all my Card space, making it incredibly difficult to do anything. I also can not create a 3rd villager, since that requires having 2 spare villagers.
to get into the palace, you have to find the friend. there's a location to the east of the village where there's a platform above normal ground[or something along those lines]with lots of kobold enemies and a random non-enemy kobold. the non-enemy is the "friend" who was lost. beat up all the enemies and then go back, get a cutscene, and bam. now you can get the flight instructor scene AND enter the palace[which doesn't really have anything except like, a handful of scenes for the journal involving the queen]
Okay, so I am not playing on the patreon only version[just to get that out of the way], and I've noticed many places and items JUST out of reach of my normal jump. I have beaten the tar boss, and cleared every portion of map I can[even getting the secret health piece in the caves]. This includes the Blaster upgrade in the Base Camp above the door, and I was curious if there's something I'm missing somehow. Another item I can't seem to reach is in the cave room just next to the Base Camp, with the thorn vines on the ceiling and the side of a "ledge" that has a skill point on it.
Mana: Wander the surface until you find a Wizard selling either a Mana Jewel or a Wand. If Jewel, craft it with a stick at a bench, if Wand, craft a book. Use the wand on the book to get the Spellbook. Open the Spellbook and use the only available spell[Mana Acquirement I]to unlock mana, and set your max to 50. If you REALLY wanna craft your own, I don't honestly remember where you craft them at.
Metal Progression: Forge to craft Bars, 6 Cobblestone Walls+4 Coal, to craft with metals above Tin, you need an Anvil, which is 6 Cobblestone Walls+4 Iron at a Forge. Copper tools require String, and must be done at Stonebench next to Workbench. I honestly suggest simply finding a town that has a forge and an anvil and steal them, fairly certain you need at least Copper level to break it.
Demon Skin: Armor is crafted at a Forge+Tannery at the same time[Armor has set bonus that boosts your damage output, EXTREMELY powerful]. Demon Metal[1 Iron+3 Demon Leather] needs Alloy Smeltery[2 Forges, 26 Cobblestone Walls, 8 Coal, 4 Iron], Demon Metal tools are Iron+Tin+Demon Metal.
And I'm not on a server, don't even think there ARE servers.
Also, sorry for not responding anytime recently, don't check this website much.
Oh I know. I managed to get lucky wandering on the surface to find a wizard NPC selling both a magic wand and a return jewel. made a book, got mana, and bam. had a wonderful time. started doing dungeon dives after I managed to find an opal rapier[stupidly good weapon btw early game], and after that, well, I managed to find an npc selling an Omnibench 5000. Farmed up money, bought it, and then went demon hunting in dungeons to make demon metal equips[it is STUPIDLY easy to do that btw, like seriously!]. Before I stopped playing, I had started simply wandering aimlessly on the surface, opening map every tile hoping to find more blood crystals in order to make the highest tier drill. already got every spell, max mana, but I can't cast the higher tier time skips, they just crash. Oh, I also got enough shop price lowering acc's to make it so I can infinitely loop for infinite money
Okay, so I found a recipe page for the Crafting tome, and that makes the game INSANELY easier and more balanced. I'd honestly suggest having that recipe be automatic[also, there should be something that prevents duplicate recipes from base unlocked ones]. And for people who are looking into this game, to make the crafting book, you take a Study Book[8 paper+2 treated leather], 20 paper, and I believe 8 more treated leather. Then, based on level, you can simply right click items and learn connected recipes. It won't always work[dunno why, cause I have material items, and have the level, but it just refuses to work on random items]. Also, a tip to people: HUNT DOWN BAGS AND LOOT THEM!!!!! They can contain EXTREMELY strong and useful items, such as a very powerful pickaxe, good weapons, armor, rare ingredients, etc. They spawn randomly in villages and other areas. Also, best way to find Iron is slime spawners. They are completely random, but they will always have a single iron ore directly up and to the left of the spawner. Also, spider spawners are useful for gathering spidersilk, which is good for bowcarfting
Another issue the game has: you can only open chests that you, the player, have placed. This makes dungeons USELESS except to kill golems for spells. Oh and that's another issue. If you accidentally shoot a chest that you placed with a fireball? It permanently deletes EVERYTHING in the chest. The game is completely chance based, extremely unfair, and ridiculously difficult for no apparent reason other than "Haha, you ded lol git good skrub"
Okay, so I am extremely confused about 90% of the crafting system. I don't know how to make a jeweler[found one in a random wizard house], I don't know how to make a mana jewel, when I hit U on items to look at what they craft into, 90% of the time it just shows items I've either already made, or are the starting stuff. The game doesn't even show you the BOW RECIPE, using sticks and string, UNTIL YOU MAKE IT! Studying is literally worthless. I thought it would at the least show items that it crafts into. Nope. Just shows value and all the base stats the player ALREADY KNOWS. There is no way to know what things are without breaking them. I died to lava one time because there was just nothing telling me it WAS LAVA! Honetly the game is too minimalistic and explains absolutely nothing to the player about what the items they have even do
