hiya, i forgot to ask, how did you do the transitions? i was impressed with both day to night and the other transition from one screen to next outside. If you care to share im happy to hear technical details as im a game programmer using unity.

Thanks, I enjoyed it. Managed to freeze it near the sofa after coming back with some food. It got stuck with .... text in the white dialogue box, but i couldn't move after that. I could switch modes with left shift, but was otherwise stuck. I like how you've chosen to show the mental states of the character, i think that worked well. Edit: Just played through a few more times.. thank you for this game I liked it. On a funny technical note I managed to jump over the invisible wall at the front of the house and onto the snow roof, didn't land on it of course, but i see you've got some sort of off screen detector that at least put me back in the right place. Nice music too.
I enjoyed playing this. I am not sure if you're supposed to be able to make it over the final wall of level 2, but i did! yay (there was a lot of blue that looked suspiciously like the default unity camera background :D) Good concept. Occassionally the fairy's controls would reverse on me, so left was right and right was left, down was up and up was down etc, but they seemed to right themselves after a while. well done.
Good job creating atmosphere. I felt like I was there, and I wanted to get to the light. After meeting the first person, I just wanted to get to the light and i was trying to click past the others (maybe i am lacking empathy and just wanna get things done). I like how it can bring out feelings in people even in such a short space of time. On a technical note, after finishing the game, I lost mouse cursor so couldn't play again or quit, had to alt f4 out. Thanks and great work.
99 Anime Girls is a cute anime-style "tap to jump" platform runner. There are also several mini-games including battles and card battles. There are boss fights. There is a chat system where you can learn more about the story and make decisions. There are also RPG elements, you can equip different weapons, socks (knee high socks of course) and accessories. It's quirky and not too serious, but don't let the ease of the early levels beguile you, this game gets very hard in the latter levels and is a good challenge. The Android version is available now free to try and the PC version is coming soon. Give it a try or add it to your itch collection!
