Stumbling across To Eat a God is like falling onto an unsuspecting chocolate cake. It was literally the last thing you expected, but you can't get enough.

With stunning art, rich storytelling, a dash of humor, sprinkles of lore, and a delicious 3-4 tablespoons of yandere, the Creator has baked up a sweet treat of a game that you can't help but want to stay immersed in.

That's right. Stay seated in that chocolate cake and open your eyes to interact with 3 main characters that break free from their stereotypical archetypes. Their routes will have you fretting who you should choose because they're all so compelling! Just enough is left obscured in the story to keep the player theorizing, reflecting, and craving another taste, especially with a twist that will delight fans of the visual novel genre.

The vibes are immaculate with unsettling music, carefully constructed background artwork that tells a story all of its own, vaguely religious imagery, and a curious cast of side characters you'll be desperate to learn more about. The designs of each character are stunning--as is the sprite artwork--and will make you wish all men wore eyelash extensions. CGs are aplenty and make you feel rewarded for your progression.

Listen, if you're pondering playing this game: Don't hesitate. Seriously the best in-progress indie VN available right now, you aren't going to want to miss out. Download it now to have your slice of chocolate cake!

And if you don't like chocolate, that's okay--Nulla will just eat it for you.
