ParserComp 2022 community · Created a new topic Game engine

In the instruction, it says you may use a parser engine. Can you use a game engine that isn't made specifically for parser games, e.g. Godot?

Thanks for the feedback! I think adding an option to have the typing sound turned on or off would be better. Same for the lines. But still, thanks for playing!

Yes, that is the name of the tune. I apologize for that bug though!

Thanks! I love Undertale! It definitely had an influence on this game. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!

Haha, what a coincidence! Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! The pixel gaps showed up when I exported it to itch.io, but I will definitely fix it eventually. This is the first full game I have made using Godot. and you are the first to comment on it, so your kind words really mean a lot! Thanks!

For sure!

Thanks!

Hi! I just heard this and immediately loved it. I was wondering if I could use for a project of mine. Of course I'll credit you.

Thank you for playing my game!

Thanks so much for playing my game.

No, You are meant to hit the vegetables and let the candy pass. However hitting candy will lower your health. Hitting vegetables and letting candy pass will give you money. If a vegetable passes then it deducts from your money.

So sorry for unclear instructions on the games page😞🙏

Thank you for playing my game. I did spend most weekend drawing the vegetables and candies but also made the prototype for the game while doing that.  Then simply replaced the prototype sprites with the actual sprites after.

Yes but in the limitation it is said that if one wants a challenge they can use only one.

So my game  can be played fully with the left mouse button but there are many thing one can do with it. Is this fine? ( there is only one button being used)

Thank you so much for playing my game. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll definitely keep it in mind to make sure everything is easy to see for the player in my future games. Have a Happy Halloween!
