This is more of a learning experience rather than taking every comment personally. The pressure is high, we understand, at least I understand if not all us. The problem is, you should give yourself plenty of time even if it means to finish the project ahead of time of the deadlines. I can't say what kind of insults you got, perhaps there are hidden comments that we couldn't see. As a person who used to work as a sales representative, you will always get unsatisfied customers, it's the real world sadly but factual. I'd say you should never take it personal and rather move forward, as much as you've been getting those "insults", you still got people who have faith in you, including me. Because perhaps I am one of the first customers, and I know you aren't some sort of a scammer. Years back, I bought Journey to Kelebra when it wasn't for free. My faith in you is still there. And, you most defiantly need to understand how the market place works, if those people get false promises, they'd see you as scammer than anything else, even if you were to be honest with your words. My best advice for now, is that you take your time with the game and when it's ready, you announce that. Sure, go ahead and release those test versions and such but never tell them a date and expect them not to be happy when a promise is not fulfilled. Also, once more, communication is your best weapon. You've got to let them know before you release dates that you got issues, not afterwards. Some people do set a time to play the game even tho they have so much going on in their plate, me for example I'm a student who barely has time for fun really (So, dates are a huge deal to me to and letting me know ahead of time, gives me a chance to be flexible with my plans) I really hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck.
It sounds like they are going through legit problems but they suck at informing us. They need to give us some headers before the deadlines at least. I just hate how I plan for it then a day after the deadline they come telling us about they got issues. This should be done before in hand, I know they can do it before in hand but I also dk why they don't. Maybe to avoid angry customers? I'd want to at least working around my plans if things go bad. But we learned the lesson now :) I can't rely on them when it comes to deadlines so there is that.
Imma do the same! Perhaps after the due date of my homework but as of right now, I'd call this a false promise, especially when we've had so many deadlines by now. And on top of that, the lack of communication is so very bad. When things go bad, developers disappear without informing us with what is going. I really really hope they work on their communication skills, not necessarily between themselves. But, between customers and whatever situation they go through. They sound like scammers, even tho they are not, we know that. But, this is exactly how scammers would do it. It makes people question how valid Gayti team is. It's just my feedback and my opinion of things. I'll keep my support as long as this team keeps the hard work, but also with better communication skills in the future. Crossing fingers!
Hmm yeah they're all overpriced, as we have talked about this in previous posts, I think the creator doesn't really listen. So, I must say good luck with him. He doesn't even answer anyone. I don't think he even reads these posts. I have stopped buying his products. Unless, they are within a reasonable price, then there's no point in buying any of his content and especially when it is a very short one. There's a much better work out there than these ones in here. Honestly, you should check out FullService or Coming Out On Top... etc. They are good prices and also very well done compared to Coolpeng, which he isn't cook as he claims :). But, really good luck.
He does a good job with his work but it can be overpriced sometimes. I once bought a game called Kevin, I think. It's a mini game, I bought it for the price of $7 and I was so disappointed all I could do is undress Kevin and that was it. If that's all it is then I'd think the price should be somewhere $1-2 and no more. Like there's no content in it. I'm pretty much just paying for undressing Kevin and it's too much for that kind of price. Some might say it's the art work I should care about, but honestly it's not like the best quality of work but it's still good enough to me. If he added shadows for example, or even more colors to the mix to make it more realistic then I'd say it's worth the $7. Not to mention the story, the title of the story can sound really amazing but the way he convey it is the problem. I do understand that there's a language barrier for English being not a first/native language, but the comments are too short and they do sound like they are rushed. Sex scenes can be dull because of the conversations and no details in it as well. But no, he does overprice his content a lot and I hope he understands that it should be affordable at the same time. I still admire his work regardless, he does need the support at the same time. Overall, his work is good-ish :)
I'm really hesitant to buy this game. Could you please describe what am I getting? It's so unclear what I am going to pay for. It seems like a short game to me, judging the size of it. Also, with all due respect, if the game is short then, price is too high.
Thank you for all the work you do by the way. I am a fan of your work :)
Advertisement is a bit confusing and I bought 2 mini games. I'm not sure do I only get Kevin without the rest or how does that work? I did the same thing with Thomas mini game too. I honestly don't know what to expect. I only got Kevin and that's it. For the price.... I'm not sure if this is worth it. Please giver me an insight to understand what's going on. It's super short for the price.
Best wishes.
