Hey! Thanks so much for playing my game and leaving feedback! I'm glad you liked it and were able to beat it : D If you don't mind coming back in the future when I've hopefully had the time to polish it, I'd love to hear any further thoughts!

To your comment about the fairy, I designed that particular character with the young child of my giftee in mind. My giftee explained that their child has difficulty managing health in games, which is why Fairy does not have a health bar, and instead is a support character which is a little easier to understand and have fun with.  I made this game with the intention that my giftee and their child would play it together, but that it would also be playable alone as Navy. I've also never made a multiplayer game in any engine before, so this was a particularly big deal for me.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to add in several features that I wanted to during the game jam time, such as a brief tutorial/controls screen and instructions, Fairy having multiple abilities, and a difficulty/time limit selector(which is currently partially completed and automatically set to Standard). But I did intend on putting in a single-player or co-op selector as well for this reason. I hope that makes a little more sense!

Hello! Thanks again for letting me know about the file issue. I just switched the zip folder for the one with the executable file. Please let me know if it works now!

Ah dangit. Thanks so much for letting me know. I will correct that immediately. I've only ever used Gamemaker for school projects where I was asked to submit a zip folder so I just defaulted to that, lol. Thanks again!

thanks so much!! : )

Hello all! I have just recently released my very first full-fledged Unity game, While C.U.B.E. Is True, on itch.io! It's a simplistic, first-person puzzle-platformer, heavily inspired by Portal, one of my favourite games of all time! I originally created it as a school (passion) project in about 3 weeks with zero Unity experience, but I'm super proud of it and have now decided to keep updating it. I'd be super happy if you guys checked it out and let me know your thoughts! I'm a university student going into Game Design and Development, so every little bit of feedback helps : )

I've also created a Discord server dedicated to my game, for anyone who's interested in joining! https://discord.gg/BERx5Vvcs9
