I have the same problem as this person back in 2021, where ambient occlusion being enabled breaks the lighting on surfaces. Does anyone playing the game on Linux have working lighting with this setting enabled? Could you share the distribution and specs of your system? I'd like to do some debugging and hopefully figure out the cause of this issue, but I'm not sure where to start.

For what it's worth, I am on Arch Linux with integrated AMD graphics, and the lighting is broken for me.

This is a great little game and I've enjoyed playing it quite a lot! But I'm having a bit of an issue with missed inputs and delayed / laggy keyups with both this and another game of yours that I played (Pakpok). This is playing on Firefox 83. This might be just the computer being too slow to run the cart, but I don't remember any issues with PICO8 Celeste and played a couple of levels just now and didn't see any missed inputs.

This hasn't made the games unplayable - I only see missed inputs or delayed keyups every few minutes or so, but it's very annoying when it happens.

I recorded a delayed keyup in Pakpok along with my keyboard inputs, and slowed it by 50% to make the issue more obvious. (The issue looks exactly the same when it happens in Flip Knight.) You can see in the recording that I continue moving to the right at least 14 frames (recorded at 24 fps) after I've released the right arrow key.

Not quite, I got a -40. ;-) That's the best I know for sure you can do, but it might be possible to hole-in-one #11 or hole-in-two #8. I'm pretty sure you can't go beyond -42 though.

Really loved this game and the soundtrack, btw. I'll be checking in later to see if it becomes a complete game.

One bug is that typing 'm' on the high score screen will toggle the mute. There's also a glitch where sometimes you putt backwards, but I haven't been able to figure out what triggers it.

Update: I succeeded on getting a hole-in-one on #11, a hole-in-two on #8, and one more improvement. So -43 is theoretically possible. If you consider adding more features I think an expert mode with harder pars would be fun, since it's very easy to hit par currently. I'd suggest 1,2,2,2,1,4,2,3,2,1,3,2,2,2,3,2,1,3, or 38 total strokes, or -34 under the current par.  It's possible to get under that par for at least 8 holes.
