Today, I received my new Asus ROG machine to replace my old Asus ROG machine. After getting all the Windows Updates, I ran this game and no sound. I then installed Steam, Visual Studio Pro, and Unity 18-20. When I installed Steam, I installed Shogun 2 Total War which had some redistributables.  One of those installs did the trick as I have sound now.

When I tried to run the game on the old machine, I had just reset my computer because of some issues. I had removed Unity, Visual Studio and Steam and I didn't have any other games installed. It was pretty much a clean install. I would say that your game does require something to get the sounds to work. And I would guess it is something pretty common, else others would have chimed in by now.  I just do not know exactly what the common redistributable is.

Thanks

I've got sounds on everything I'm doing and playing on the computer. Just nothing from the game. No sounds or Music. I set the volume to 50% in the game in case I was being stupid with the slider.  I don't know what's up. I'm buying a new computer. Should have it tomorrow. This will be the first game I install. I'll let you know if it persists or not.

Bronze Age community · Created a new topic No Sound

Hello Commodore,

I have downloaded multiple versions of this game and they all have the same problem. I have no game sounds.  The setting in the game are correct, so that's not the issue. I cannot find anyone else with the issue. I'm listening to Pandora as I play, so I know my computer is pumping out sounds.  I noticed the sounds are xnb files. Do I need some other software to support the gameplay of Bronze Age?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
