The submitted link is a YouTube Studio link. The correct link is on the itch page. And here:

Upload your video to YouTube (or another video hosting site). Create a basic project page with information about your project (the pitch &  game). Include your video URL in the submission form. In addition, you can embed the video in your project page. Does that make sense?

You don't have to submit the prototype with the pitch video.

Yes, you can make a 2D game. To submit your pitch, upload your video somewhere and share a link to it  in your submission.

Got that one too! Thank you!

Thank you! I've corrected this. You now have two options.

It is not required to run on a phone, but if your game runs OK in the Spatial.io website, it'll run just fine on mobile (it'll probably run better)

You must use the Creator Toolkit. If you need help and haven't joined the Spatial Discord, please do so! Happy to answer any questions there. I do check the Itch community tab from time to time but you're more likely to get a quicker response from myself, or others, in the Discord.

Yes, you can use ChatGPT to aid in the development of your game.

Check out section 1. Eligibility in the terms & conditions. Short answer: you can participate with your parents' permission. More details in the terms & conditions.

You are welcome!

Hello!

Prototypes of games are to be submitted. The first round will result in a top 8. Out of the top 8, the judges will pick 4. Those 4 games will enter into a month long development sprint.

Hello!

Single-player games can be created.

Each package you build with the Creator Toolkit requires a project configuration. The project configuration for a space has a setting (Server Instancing) to limit the number of people in an instance. See more here: https://docs.spatial.io/project-configuration

To turn off Spatial GUI systems, such as chat, you'd use the SpatialBridge's coreGUIService: https://cs.spatial.io/reference/SpatialSys.UnitySDK.ICoreGUIService

Ideally you'd create a prototype during this jam period and submit it before submissions close. As long as your game meets the requirements, theme included, it'll be considered.
