Thanks for the review! The mini zine kept me from fleshing out the NPCs, monsters, and encounters more like I would if I was giving them stats for a particular system. If I expanded on it, I would probably provide stats for either Mork Borg, Troika!, or Into the Odd for no special reason other than those are what I'm playing these days. My next adventure is for Mork Borg and it has more fully fleshed out rules interactions. That should be done by the end of the month for the Last Jam.

Many playbooks in the jam break all those "rules", so I suppose it's up to you if you want to adhere to the "standard" BitD playbook format, which are like Dissonance listed. Special playbooks like Vampire, Hull, and Ghost don't follow those, though. I've stuck to the formula since I like pretending my books could work as core playbooks, but that's just me. Having abilities that grant +1d or +1 effect are likely good in moderation since they hook into a core mechanic of the game and how the bonus is triggered says a lot about the flavor of your playbook. But reread the core playbooks and you'll see that most special abilities don't follow that either.

I was thinking of a firebrand playbook that combined fiery speech, arson, and psychokinesis, but now you saved me the trouble of writing it. This looks great!

No problem, glad it worked itself out!

Hi, I might be misunderstanding what you mean by "letter-formatted" downloads. The downloads should be portrait (taller than wider) and letter (8.5 x 11 in.) That should match what you see in the preview images, but maybe I'm saving the .indd file with the wrong settings. Could you explain a bit more about what you're seeing so I can help you figure it out? Thanks! :)

Sure, uploading the IDML now!
