In the spirit of the game jam, you should only be working on this during the dates of the game jam!

You may use any game engine. You do not need a token to be integrated upon submission, but you should have some in-game currency so we can understand how the token will be integrated in the future.

FYI - There was a fake discord link going around. You should not get a verification for wallet assets. Here is our Discord https://discord.gg/QUMkeq7ny6

Hmm that's strange. Checking on this! In the meantime, you can message me on Discord @AetherWindZ

To celebrate our first game jam, the theme is free for all - anything goes! We want to see what you come up with.

Good luck!! Come to our discord to talk with other participants https://discord.gg/t8fa5fhW

There is no payment requirement for any submissions, and we added a note to the Game Jam description so that there is not any confusion. Thank you for reporting!

Congratulations to the winner of the game jam: billyboy!!

Check out their game here: MODDSCAPE

Modd Scape showed an impressive amount of creativity and fun gameplay. Not only did they use their own art assets and fonts, but they also took added particles and other polish that made the game a joy to play.

Thanks everyone for participating! We had a ton of fun playing the games and experiencing some old school nostalgia. Maybe one of your games will become the next classic for future creators :)

Share your game with the community!

There's just a few days left! Looking forward to seeing what games you submit.

We'll play them together next week!

Theme: Classic games made before 2010

We want to see how you're inspired by those Classic games that we all know and love which we're made before 2010

Good luck everyone! Looking forward to seeing what you build. The jam ends on December 18!

Congratulations to the winner: FootSoldier for their game Toy Defense Cascade

Play it here: https://www.modd.io/play/TDC/

Great job to all the participants! We were impressed by what everyone finished in these short weeks. We'll see you in the next game jam!

We're about halfway through the game jam, how is everyone doing? Any tips or ideas? Anything you want to share?

We're really looking forward to the games :)

You can upload it as a HTML file, if you know how to do that.
Otherwise, you can make an Itch page for it and add the URL as a description.

You should be able to add an URL when you submit a game

The theme is:  **Autonomous**

We will be judging these games based on: Originality, Completeness, Gameplay, and Art

You have 3 weeks, so make sure to take those criteria into account for your final game. Feel free to use the #GameDev Space in our Discord if want to stream or chat with others while you build. And don’t forget about our Learning Center where we have Tutorials and Documentation to help you get started!

Good luck!!

Keep adding ideas, we might take them into account ;)

Modd coins may be possible. If you win, we'll reach out and discuss with you

Get your games in if you haven't already! We're excited to play all the submissions :)

Two weeks - you can see the final submission date in your timezone in the game jam description.

Theme is: The End of the World

Good luck everyone!

you can use art assets from games that weren't published. If the art you uses makes it look like another already published game, you will lose points for art and originality

Temple of Secrets

Hi everyone! I've been working with a small team to create Moddio, a game development platform, and today, we launched a new game: Temple of Secrets

Temple of Secrets is a co-op adventure game where you need to work together with other players to solve puzzles and escape the temple. You get about 1 hour to escape, so you must work quickly. When you enter the game, you can either choose to join a pre-existing lobby, or you can make your own. You can share that lobby link with your friends so you can all play together!

I'm really excited about to share this game because we love puzzle games, and wanted to share that love with you all! We've made the source code freely available so you can also make a game just like it in seconds.

If you have fun with it, or if you have any questions, let me know below!
