The idea is really cool. I really enjoy seeing puzzle mechanics I've never seen before. One suggestion is to add a step back key, so the player doesn't have to restart from the beginning.

Thanks for playing our game! We appreciate the feedback. We had more mechanics planned besides the narrative experience, but we had to narrow down our focus due to the time limit. If we have time, we're thinking about creating a second game that continues the narrative for another game jam since the main mechanics are exactly what we were planning to develop for this game jam.
I'll try to finish the other mechanics for this version of the game right after the voting period.
