I'm completely stuck. Here's my inventory, I also have the shovel. I can't find a use for any of these items, no one will accept the gym fliers, the fishing rod doesn't seem like it goes anywhere, no one wants coffee. I know I'm supposed to find help with the biorocks, help the cat escape, find help for the shopkeeper, it's just that I've talked to everyone about everything and shown almost every item and can't make any progress. Any tips?

Tried the tutorial level and can't figure out the controls for this game. They seem to be different with every game? There were some times I tried every button on my controller and nothing worked.

This is a genius idea! I love everything about the idea behind it, and it's something not many would think of but very integral to the episode. I had a lot of fun playing this and with a little more polish beyond the game jam period would definitely be a major hit!

Very fun quiz! I will say that with the word scrambling part sometimes there was another correct solution that it didn't accept.

Hello! My name is Alex, and I have been a programmer for a good while but relatively new to the world of game development. I have been working for the past 7 months at a robotics startup doing Unity development so I've become very comfortable with the engine and I'd like to put those skills to use in a creative project in my spare time. I also do write music and tend to draw from my experience playing jazz in doing so, and have a few completed compositions that I can share.

As for what I'd like to work on, either a new or existing project would be good, anything that's a good fit for my skills and interests. If a new project, I'd prefer to work with others that can do roles I am weaker in or cannot fulfill like artwork. When it comes to my own ideas and inspiration for a potential game, I love platformers and am very inspired by Rare's older games in particular like the Donkey Kong Country trilogy and Banjo Kazooie. I also would be interested in doing a game with rhythm elements, like Rhythm Heaven, that pushes the rhythm game genre. Other interesting genres to me include building (city, theme park, etc) , simulation, and puzzle games.

Let me know if what I've said or my background is interesting and you'd like to discuss game design ideas or an existing project. Happy to share any samples of my work, references, answer questions, etc.
