One of the best games in this jam with a brilliant design.

Thanks! The pickups increase your “Energy” based on their rarity — Common, Uncommon, and Rare. The rarer the pickup, the more energy you gain, allowing you to play for longer! There are also rewards on the chain based on their rarity!

You’re unstoppable 🎮

Glad you enjoyed the chaos! Losing just one life is impressive! 🎮

Thanks and congrats on finishing the game!

The Coldplay concert I can afford RN 🥲

Stands out from the rest with a surreal experience.

Intriguing concept. Unfortunately, only the EXIT button works for me :(

Nice artwork and gameplay. SFX is much needed though to elevate the gameplay!!

This needs a lot of optimization as it hardly runs at 5-10 FPS on my laptop. Feels similar to say, using blender in the render mode instead of the material mode when modelling.

I do get that it’s part of the upgrade, but this starts waaayyyy too slow. Kind of like I need a DLC to move well.

It’s a bit trippy visually with the camera movements and the over the top effects. Also, the power progression could be better as well btw.

The resistance could be better visualized IMO with some power balance fixes but a pretty decent entry nevertheless.

10/10. This is GREAT. Yayy.

Not sure if that’s just me but, after a while the player starts to FLY and the the movement animation doesn’t work/gets too glitchy. Also, enemies stop spawning.

10/10 for the “Bye By…” oops, never mind. Great VO, that kept the game engaging even tho how incredibly wrong this feels. Hate to admit, but well done 👍

Slick visuals and art! Didn’t get the riddles.., so just mixed and matched the ingredients and a few random tried did the job for me xD Found a couple of issues - the colliders are not well defined and character sometimes gets stuck, NO SOUND (whywhy), and also the screen goes black when the game finally ends.

This game is well, FISHY. XD Nice cartoonish art with simple gameplay and controls which anyone can get into.

Good execution with a nice concept. Node editor works as expected. I do wish there could be more depth to the puzzles/gameplay and something could be done to speed up the nodes, in case you chose to work on the full version. For a game jam build, there’s not much to complain.

The game feels a bit slow and repeatative after a playing for some time. You could maybe speed up the gameplay, increase monster and add bullet variations to make it more much fun.

Thanks! We started with the plan to mix “Minesweeper” with “Pac-Man” to create a different breed 😬

I’m glad you liked it, and as the screenshot says, “Thanks for playing!” 🎮

That’s unfortunate. Even I had to just submit the Windows build due to frequent time constraints and some last moment bugs, so I do get it.

I did retry the game. It seems that the hand doesn’t move to the extreme sides in LV1, so able to dodge accordingly. Some intructions would be great btw. P.S. - Forgot to mention but the opening cutscene goes well with the music!

Thanks! The TNT has a range spanning multiple tiles, so you must be taking damage from that (I will add a clearer indicator in the future builds). Otherwise, the only way to take damage is if the RED monster jumps on you if you’re near it. There are some glitches in the layering and animations, which we have fixed and should be available down the line.

That makes sense. This would be much better with 2 players - a test of coordination between them, - but to achieve that would need more things to do per player, some of which you mentioned. The idea is nice, and I do get all of that isn’t possible in a jam. Good luck!

An excellent approach to gamifying learning! Great job on implementing all the formulas, the voice-over, and maintaining clean aesthetics.

Nice concept but it could use some variation in powerups amongst other things. Looks unfinished IMO, like something that was supposed to be there is missing.

Couldn’t figure out what to do after picking the match, as nothing happens on staying nearby. On moving away, a hand comes to sweep away the fire and the end.

I did get stuck in this part (below) and couldn’t get the bottom right part to move among figuring out the move logic behind the eyes. Rest of the game feel really well put together. sleekshot.png

This does feel like a bootcamp for my mouse accuracy… I guess time to level it up! 🎮

It’s HARD to turn the vehicles, which does take out the fun from a nice little game.

Please don’t give U*is0f1 any ideas :P This is really fun btw., the combination of captcha and updates is the real killer!

You could add alternate controls if user us using WASD keys, else it becomes pretty hard. Sounds would be a nice add. P.S. The sword doubles as a fan :P

The change of scenery was unexpected. You could add a lot more variations to the power-ups and/or require the coins to enable them (?). Anyways good job!

Looks rather good. I did find the spaceship controls to be a bit hard in combination with mouse aiming, but I guess it was designed that way (?).

Nice concept but it could use some polish with better controls as well.

Would’ve loved to see some background music added to the game. Apart from that, seeing the numbers go higher and higher is more fun than expected :D

How do you even make something so near perfection in a game jam!!! This level of aesthetics, cinematics, fun gameplay and even VO deserves a top spot.

IF it were this easy to make money in real life, we would be rich! xD
