Hi, I'm having some trouble getting this to work on my Mac? It says that I don't have permission to access the file, which is super weird because I know it's not a computer error since I'm the only one who uses my laptop.

Great new update! I've been trying to romance both Damon and Cal (I have two different save points for two different replays) and ugh, THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD. I liked how there felt like there were more character building options (and the italics really helped) and that we got to see more of Damon's backstory. But personally, I would've loved a little CalxPlayer steamy point towards the end (the same way that Damon had that moment ehehe). I don't know if that's possible given the plot, but that's just my two cents! I also wonder if it would be possible to give the player a choice of who they want to try and fence the pocket music box? The episode automatically goes to Damon -- which I think makes sense, but maybe letting the player choose could  open more more romance paths in that episode? Just a thought.

But I want you guys to know that you have been doing AMAZING work so far! I've played every update as soon as it was released and I even mark the release dates  on my  calendar. So excited for episode 5!

Just played Episode 3! I can't tell you guys how long I've been waiting for this update, and to finally meet our mystery man, Vexx (who is quite *vexxing* lololol). My heart is still with Damon, but I feel like it's actually getting harder and harder for me to pick a favorite. All your characters are so well fleshed out, and the sprites and background graphics are beautiful. I was hoping for a longer update, but I understand that it takes a lot of time and work to make this all happen, so I'll just anxiously await your next one!

I'm getting the same problem. I wonder if its because the route isn't finished yet?

I PLAYED THROUGH BOTTH EPISODES SO FAST THAT I WAS CRESTFALLEN IT WAS OVER. CAN'T WAIT FOR EP 3! (and to see a certain dark haired assassin again)

Keep up the good work! Your game is gorgeous, the writing is amazing, and I love how everything is so immersive. I'll be waiting patiently!

I really enjoyed this game! Thank you for the hard work you put into it!

I could probably wax poetic about this forever, but I'll be short, haha.

I really loved

  • the art & sprites (and I'm definitely going to have fun trying to unlock all the gallery pictures!)
  • the customizable-ness of the MC (and how she was snarky to boot!)
  • the many different routes (I'll admit I haven't played through them all yet, but Bastien is my favorite so far -- I can't help but love childhood characters, but Prince/Leopold are also good sjDSJISDJS I can't choose! There's something I love about each of them. I'm also excited to hear a sequel is in the works! I definitely want to know what lil Leo is up to...)
  • the story itself! Well-done! I originally thought this might a little cliche, and while they characters originally seem to fit some kind of archetype/trope, I was delighted by how they actually unfolded! Guillaume was predictable, but still such an adorable lil bean and his character development was pretty top-notch).

I'm looking forward to the sequel & am definitely going to replay TROS many times!

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I finished playing the demo and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I'm already replaying just the demo alone -- I love how every choice has a different consequence, and isn't just like "all-roads-lead-to-Rome"-ish (I mean, I know they eventually lead back to the plot at hand, but it's just every choice is distinctly different, adding to the replay value).

The art is also so beautiful and all the characters are so unique. I also admire the entire world you've created, as well as the amount of work you've put into it. I look forward to seeing the final product! <3

Ah, that does sound like a pain. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'll let it you know when I do.

Okay, I'll try that!

And while I am sad to hear that you will not be supporting a Mac version, I look forward to playing the game on a Windows (I shall be stealing my brother's PC :P)

Hello! I just downloaded your game and was looking forward to playing it, but I seem to have run into a bug. I'm currently using a Mac OS Sierra on a 2012 model. I know you must be busy and are probably focusing on the Windows version of the game right now, but I just wanted to let you know. I've included a screenshot of the bug I've run into.

I was scrolling through the comments before playing this game to see the reviews and didn't understand this, but now that I've played it, I'm laughing too hard.

I've only played Emilio's route so far (I've gotten Rings of Promise and Rivals as endings) but I definitely planning on playing all the guys. The art is GREAT, SO, SO, SO GREAT. Everything is so crisp, the sprites are original and well-designed, and the background has great detail. And I love how this game offers a tutorial in the beginning, as well as a glossary for all the 1920s terms (not to mention that it incorporates those into the game so well too)!

(A plus is that the protagonist in Chinese! As I am one too, I was pleasantly surprised, and I even ended up using my own name, something I never do.)

This was such a cute game! I've only played Carver's path so far, but I really enjoyed it. Also, the pastry-related puns? So funny & added a nice personal touch to game, ahaha.

I loved this game so much. The writing was great, I was kept on the edge my toes all the time, and the romance between Blake and the MC had me swooning. I've yet to play through with Amesbury or Stanton though, but from what I've heard, they're pretty good, so I look forward to that! :D
