There are squares below hp, if you insert them deeper, they will light up and, presumably, cause pain, and hp will drop quickly, take your time, and everything will be fine. It took me a while to figure it out myself.

There is a question about when we should wait for the update, if possible we would like to know the date.

The question is, should this posterization work if I turned it off in the settings or is it a bug

the game is certainly good, but it lacks a quick access panel to place at least 2-3 potions or items, how many times have I died because I did not have time to use them, and so the game is top.
