hi, folks!! i'm alex, and i just wrapped up my first two game jams of the year, but i'm looking for more >:) i'm a lifelong magical girl fan, and would be honoured to find a team for a jam that's themed around something so close to my heart. i generally make synthy, electronic stuff, but i also have a bit of experience with orchestral/ensemble stuff.

i also have experience writing, and in video games am quite comfortable as an editor/script supervisor. give me your scripts and i'll make em pretty!!

howdy, i'm alex! i'm a writer/musician from what's colonially known as canada, and i've been meaning to get into using those skillsets in games for a while. :] i have experience with all kinds of musical stuff (including scoring for a couple games that... unsurprisingly... never got made!), and all kinds of writing stuff (including a couple of abandoned twine projects lol). just joined my first game jam and hoping to do more.

Howdy, y'all! My name is Alex, but I make stuff under the alias Fairything. I'm kind of running out of gig work in the local art scene, so I thought I'd reach out to the big, beautiful itch.io community for opportunities. 

Let's get some facts out of the way: 

- I'm a producer, instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter. I recently released an EP! People have always compared my music to video game stuff, so I guess it made sense to post here. 

- While I've never made music for a video game in particular, I've made music for short films, animation projects, and personal work like the aforementioned EP. 

- As for writing, I do a little bit of everything! I have experience in journalistic articles, fiction, and poetry. I've been published in a bunch of local outlets, and I'm currently working on a novel. I don't have much in the way to share with this category, but I will say I hold two Scholastic Gold Keys and I've done a lot of paid writing work both in school and in the local arts scene. 

- Also, for identity purposes, I'm a 20-year-old neurodivergent lesbian. If you like working with gay people or disabled people, hi, I'm those.
