Hi again everyone,

Protosys version 1.3 is here! Just like 1.2 there's only small changes, but here they are:

  • Merged codebase with a future release.
  • Fixed an incorrect enemy wing in Sector 9.

Hi again everyone,

Protosys version 1.2 is here! I haven't changed as much as in version 1.1, but I still think it deserves it's own patch.

  • Adjusted the Capital Ship graphics to look more symmetrical.
  • Stopped updating the Android version, as no-one played it.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the feedback (both positive and critical) you've given me over the last week. Hopefully, this new patch addresses the issues you pointed out, and makes Protosys a more fun and challenging experience. Here's what I've changed:

  • Added labels for each level.
  • Added barriers to delete enemies when they go off screen. This should stop the shooting noises when no enemies on screen are shooting.
  • Tweaked graphics for the bosses.
  • Added variation in the spawn position of waves.
  • Added 2 new waves types.
  • Powerups now give you points when picked up.
  • Gunships and Armoured Traders can now fire missiles (web version only).
  • Increased number of waves and spawn rate for Sector 7 to 11.
  • Ported the game to an Android app (a beta is available for download).

Glad you liked how it looked and thought it was fun. I'm currently working on a patch to increase the difficulty, so that might help make the impact of shooting more significant.

Thanks for the feedback. Yesterday, I tweaked the sounds to be less annoying, and that should be coming out on Monday.

Hi,

I've just looked at the poll results for themes. Is the choice between colour matters and can't stop, or are space and one level included as well because they're 2nd place in terms of votes?

Thanks for your feedback. I'm planning on doing a patch next week do I'll adjust the enemies to make them harder to avoid then.
