Thanks for the feedback :) For the limitation I went for more of the concept of death, by caring for souls. I really like the idea of moving the portal around at point intervals, if I develop this game any further then I will definitely do that :)

As others have said the sprite work (especially death) is really nice :)

I like the use of different combat abilities, although I did find a bug with the dash ability that allows you to dash outside of the map.

I like the combat as well, although I wish the player's attacks felt a little bit more impactful, a hit sound and a damage animation can do wonders.

Overall, I think this is a great entry :D

Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed playing it :D I agree, a tutorial would have helped a lot, as well as more moment to moment  decisions to spice up the repetitiveness, and keep players on their toes.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :) You're absolutely right about the particle effect trail, I'll keep that in mind when I next implement some kind of trailing effect

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it :) Yeah the world generation is a bit rough, but it is always possible to reach every room. A death screen would be a really nice improvement, it does feel very abrupt when you get thrown into a new run.

Thanks for the feedback :) Yeah the level generation is a bit rough, and it is a little on the hard side. Difficulty tuning is something I need to improve upon.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it :) You're right, invulnerability on roll would have been a nice feature. I think enemies are also missing some kind of animation before shooting, to help give the player an indicator on when to dodge.

Thank you very much, glad you liked it :) oh interesting! I'll keep that in mind, thank you for the info!

What kind of setting was your game in?

Thanks for the feedback :) I agree, the map is a little difficult to navigate, maybe a minimap in the top left would have been helpful.
