The Henchmen

Welcome to the wet and cold streets of New Queens, where the 90s vibe meets criminal intrigue in a pulp-inspired adventure that pays homage to the golden era of action-packed gaming.

The Henchmen features arena-styled gameplay where speed is your ally. Execute lightning-fast combos that seamlessly blend melee strikes, roll dodges, and sliding; Chain kills together attacks to replenish health and ammo on the fly.

Out on the streets, The Henchmen features Driver-inspired driving physics, including a dedicated “power slide” button and fierce cops that just can’t help ramming into you at full speed. (No parking garage test is required, though)

Afraid of going in alone? Have a friend join you, as The Henchmen fully supports two-player co-op, with split screen and shared screen modes.

• Earn your stripes by increasing your respect level to unlock new equipment; Purchase, and upgrade cars, collect hidden "Henchmen Tokens" to boost your strength, or tackle challenges scattered around the map for extra cash and respect.
• Unlock and choose from 5 playable characters, each with unique strengths and weaknesses.
• Immerse yourself in the thumping beats of a pulsating 90s Drum-n-Bass and Techno soundtrack that sets the tone for your every escapade.
• Tailor the visual experience to your preferences by using presets such as “PSX”, which emulates the distinctive look of 5th gen consoles, or the “Voodoo” preset, which offers a closer resemblance to the hardware-accelerated aesthetics of PC games of the era. Alternatively, take it further by customizing each element individually to create your personal nostalgia cocktail.
• Not just nostalgia: While The Henchmen offers a delightful blast, with an era-accurate presentation from start to finish, it is beyond a mere nostalgia trip! We’ve envisioned The Henchmen as a “modern-retro” game that stands on its own legs, delivering a compelling experience beyond just delivering cheap nostalgia high.
