Unfortunately, a lot of the functions I'd expected to work didn't. Help, for example, merely cleared the screen without giving any actual help, and typing in the instruction the hint said was going to solve the first puzzle came up with a sentence I couldn't parse, let alone link to the puzzle. This meant I could not get past the opening puzzle. Sorry.
I enjoyed the atmosphere-building a lot. Events made sense, though I think it will take me more time to "get" the right mindset to solve the puzzle I'm currently on. (It feels like the sort of game where said mindset does not mean "mind-read the author", which is good).
I somehow managed to get stuck in the western passage at the start of the game (it let me in but not out). This rather spoiled what looked like an extremely promising game.
