I found a bug where sometimes, the only way to beat level 9 is to restart the game. Don’t worry, I’ll fix this once I get the project file.

Speaking of the level selector, I was thinking that if I add more levels (i.e. 12, 30, 59, 69…), new players would take ages just to complete the whole game and finally get the level selector! So, for them, in 1.2.0 to 2.0.0, the level selector will be before the actual game itself. They will start with level 1 already unlocked, because there’s no level 0. As they progress, they’ll get closer and closer to the end.

And speaking of level 0, in debug mode, when you get to level 0, there’s nothing you can do. You’re in the shadow realm of Buggle’s levels that is level 0. Level 0 will get removed in 1.1.0

Anyway, back to the level selector! The level selector will be a grid of levels with their names. Its animations will feel smooth AF!

Note: I gave up on the level selector sadly :<. When do you think the level selector’s gonna be postponed to? Reply your guess!

The update will include (Quote: What I want it to and isn’t as of writing, Bullet List: What it does as of writing, Emphasized and/or Bold on Bullet List: WIP as of writing, Code block: Nevermind):

  • A cheese-proof for level 9 (Required some bugfixing and adding a game-crashing color (#F00D00))
  • Changed color from #FA0A0A to #F11D11 to avoid confusion from my engine (TurboWarp)
  • FPS increased from 30 to 240
  • A title screen
  • +3 levels
  • Challenge levels
  • Music
  • Level editor (loading custom levels, but no official server)
  • Changed pause key from Esc to Ctrl because my engine decided to disable the Esc key randomly!
  • SFX
  • A data saving & loading system (Bspc: Delete (and maybe save) data, X: load and overwrite data)
  • A special end sequence for custom levels
  • A gravity flip color (#00FF00)
  • A settings menu (Empty for now)
Full mobile support
A level selector (Available after beating the last level)

In my birthday, there might be a release date for 1.4

What 1.4 will offer:

  • New shop
  • Better gameplay music
  • A minor amount of new shaders (Came with The newest update of TurboWarp)
  • Mobile helper (Enthesis cuz It ONLY shows up on mobile)
  • The previously mentioned discord server
  • A birthday/anniversary special easter egg

What I wanted 1.4 .1 to offer:

What was scrapped and why:

  • Better artwork - Vector is pain. I like how Icy Creamy currently looks
  • Melt animation - I have spaghetti code
  • Original Gameplay theme - It sounds, is, and always was BAD. In fact it was SO BAD that I had to
  • remake it
  • An update checker - I can’t pull it off

Not gonna be implemented and why:

  • A dialogue/cutscene - I don’t know what it should be + I can BARELY EVEN animate!

Remastered & revised the gameplay song (More bad music being revamped soon), and preparing an official DISCORD SERVER! The Discord Server will work like this page. It’ll include a channel where you can share your update ideas. Speaking of, if you’re lucky enough, your idea might change the game (mostly if not forever), as usual… BUT, if you’re luckiER than enough, you might be added to the team! Exiting, right? Well, get your clovers ready, since the update will copy its (the discord server’s) link to your clipboard when/if you press d during gameplay!

I’m sorry for the longer wait for the update. I couldn’t access the project file at this moment. It’s not deleted, It’s just that I’m limited to my new laptop. I sadly didn’t put the project on a USB drive. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry, I can’t do it. Well I can, but I gave up. I looked impossible for me. EDIT: I did it for 1.4!

In 1.1(.0), I added a counter that tracks how many times you’ve clicked the sun. But… I noticed a problem: It’s just- there.. So I’m asking you guys to give me ideas to FINALLY MAKE IT MEAN SOMETHING! I’ll make a wheel (in Wheel Of Names) for the Top 3 ideas. MAKE IT GOOD

I’m sorry. I can’t add a melting animation, because my code is spaghetti.
