I really love your second idea ^^ 

It's a pity that for example deaf or blind cat immediately is moved to the elders den. I mean, if a cat was in a major accidant and received major injuries and is moved to the elders den then it's pretty understanable.

I think an option to exile a cat would be awesome! It would add a nice touch to a storyline we may want to create, this option would be especially cool if a cat was murdered (one of death options already in the game) and in our storyline's we have a suspect.

( Also i fricking love how the cats look)
