Happy Birthday!

Ah thank you so much!

Bob and weave between asteroids and enemies, trying to survive long enough to level up or regain your shield.

Mouse-and-keyboard controls (point where you want to face and click/hold space to accelerate). It takes a bit of time to master but soon feels satisfying as your ship arcs round the screen in graceful curves, or frantically weaves between obstacles.

The screen starts off quiet, but gets frantic as more and more asteroids and enemy types show up.

It's a game about weaving in between enemies and obstacles, simultaneously trying to survive and turning the tables on your pursuers. Think the chaotic space battle from the climax of the Firefly movie.

Score-chasing; no end game, but a single play-through typically lasts anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.

Thanks for taking the time to read; I'd love it if you checked it out!

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

Thanks for playing! And good suggestion; I've updated it so the timer now stops when you die.

This was fun! Reminds me of dark souls in that the quickest way to die is to focus too much on attacking, you're better off focusing on dodging and getting your attacks in only when it's safe to do so (I am so bad at dodging.)

Controls feel awkward but maybe in a way that fits the vibe. I am a hapless slow purple blob outmatched by giant alien terrors.

My current strategy is just do put the cursor over the 'third leg' and move the character around to ensure I hit the right limb. Don't know if that's going to work for later bosses, but for now I'm glad  it does because I don't think I'd be able to hit a moving target...
