Hey jumpjets - thanks! At our artists page, you can see which artist drew which sprites: https://space.alphacoders.com/artist

Thank you for the offer :) It's nodejs backed up to MySQL on the server side, and Phaser 3 on the client side.

Space Abyss: https://alphacoders.itch.io/space-abyss

Hello everyone! Space Abyss is a 2D mmo I've been working on for quite a long time now. It's meant to be a sandbox where players can interact in all sorts of fun ways; take over entire planets, build spaceships, and build better bodies.

As you explore around you'll find various planets, things to salvage, mine, and structures other players have built (not many of those yet). You can land on and explore planets. There are currently 30+ different types of monsters you can encounter, and lots of different weapons and equipment to build!

I know that indie mmos tend to be pipe dreams. It's one of my goals to keep the game fun no matter now large/small the player base is. Mostly I'm just happy to work on building something fun in my spare time.

Switching bodies is a large part of Space Abyss. Instead of set classes, you swap out bodies for the task at hand.

Thanks for reading everyone!
