Spend most of the day designing and animating the main character. I am planning for it to be a pixel game and have started pixel designing along with my game dev journey.
Very basic Idle and Walk animations. So now my character can do some very basic stuff. On to other things now.
Hi, I am Anchit from India.I am not a developer or designer by profession but by love of everything video games.
This is my first game jam and my journey into game dev only started about a month back. I plan to re-create som video game classics like mario, galaxy shooter, tank, etc. and participate in a bunch of GameJams to learn and eventually create a game of my own.
Game Intro
The game I am planning to make is called Dreamscape Adventures (working title). It's a 2D platformer (like celeste, hollow knight etc.). It's a story about a someone who is stuck in their subconscious and trying to escape. To do that they have to face a bunch of challenges and enemies. The challenges get more difficult and enemies get more abstract and powerful as the person progresses deeper into their subconscious. It's a simple story about someone who is trying to fight their fears and grow as an individual.
I plan to keep the levels minimal and simple as this is my first game jam and first game as such. Let's see how it goes!
