The Color palette is great and easy for the eyes. I played until i reached 11k points then i quit. The reason i quit was that i needed some gratification earlier, perhaps a new weapon or a boss. Perhaps it comes later. I didnt encountered any bugs, i liked the game, i was inspired by the graphics and some animations. The ability to switch with shift was new to me and i liked it.Thanks
OK wow this WAS COOL!
the graphics and animations was amazing, why am i shouting is capslock on no its not its just the page forcing me to be in capital letters. oh yeah back to the game, it was unique and cool with the custom upload function and the web tech but it was the visuals that melted my heart bye
This game is amazing in so many ways, the sounddesign is just on a michelin star level wtf its soo good! the details like the facial expression when throwing towerpiece at maximum power is hillarious! the graphics just works as everything does. Theres also a unique awarness of "ive never played anything like this before" feeling that i really much apprieciate.
Great great work!
Emotional game with invitations of relatable personal experiences. I have no idea why i couldnt beat one of the levels where the spikes where too wide for me to jump over. I wish i could experience the 3 endings but i guess im just too bad. Music is great! I like that the tiles basically are hearts that build the tower. Deep shit, nice work!
Ooh shit i love this! thats so smart and unique! first it seems like a brief air of "this is a short platformer nothing much" and then as you advance you realize the simple but amazingly unique game mechanics! YOU are the tower and your shots could be elevated or depression of the floor of the tower that shoots! And also the pedagoic progressive instructions of how to play is perfectly coherent. The only think i could wish for is some suitable music.
Well done!
OK the idea is cool here u deliver boxes in a tower and avoid the enemies which hillariously grabs the boxes from you which is a nice little treat!
Music is cool, i like the idea of the boxes tags and the corresponding delivery points! What i really would wish is some kind of tutorial or ellaborated explanation in the description of the game! it took me a while to figure the game out. I had no idea the boxes where spawning in the bottom right of the game i just climbed the tower!
OK this is a mood! The music, the graphics, the animations everything puts me in a kind of mood that i love. Its winded down, its kinda frustrating because u want to advance but feel like youre lacking abit of control because of the unique and great one button input(!).
Great work Jerebee for the music. Incredible graphis Blanket the Almighty. Your name is a fitting word for the games vibe itself. Everything runs smoothly and seems well programmed aswell Macrow.
Idk i just love the vibe of it even though i ragequitted fairly early.
Hello thanks for your comment. I tried your games and i found it very easy to get into. I liked the attention to details when it came to the sounds, the overall feeling, the pace, things like the vines animated when collided.
My mind wandered of to games like "speedrunners". The contrast with the green background and black foreground and also outlined spikes increases the variation from a more silhouette take.
Thank you.
Haha thank you for this it made my day! Thanks for checking out our "game". I see it more and more like a little experience than actual gameplay because there´s really none. Because we were only two persons making this in a week the time was simply not on our side! Like the credits for instance i added it to a already complete UI-scene which i never saved in Illustrator so i had to be creative with it putting it below "quit" because i didnt had time editing in PS. I agree with you on all points lol! I also agree about the order you suggested which is Start, Options in the top and Quit in the absolute bottom.
Man i laughed hard when you exposed typos, i was myself hoping that nobody would expose "byt" and you did it on stream. English is not our first language. When you didnt figure out to put stones in the cart it hurt my brain and it was a big relief when you finally did. I was hoping for a comment on the second track i made for the second ruin but im glad you noticed and commented the first one.
Best comment: "Is this historically accurate??"
Ill be sure to check out your stream.
Shout out to leida who did an awesome job programming and putting colliders on all my shit, especially the spiral stairs. Shout out to the host of this GameJam, he is a 14 year old kid interested in history and programming. Faith in humanity restored.
