Hi! Thanks for taking the time to cover my game, much appreciated! Let me know when you launch and I'll link from my Twitter and Facebook accounts for you!

I'd love a digital copy and of course will not spread. You can contact me direct using:

pixelcomposecode@gmail.com

Thanks for your comment and adding the game to your video!

I'm currently developing a further sequel, CHILL3R, which should be released later in 2024.

Yes, the code entering 'bug' was so infrequent, I had trouble nailing it down!  I'll look at the NTSC issue in an emulator and see if I can figure out what is happening.  If I find a fix, I'll give you a shout to test - thanks for the offer of help!

Thanks for the feedback. much appreciated.

I tested the game as much as I could, but only have access to real PAL Amiga's. I'll put a disclaimer on the game page warning about possible NTSC issues.

I know about the code entering issue as it did happen to me once or twice. However, it didn't happen enough for me to be able to track down why. The way to minimize it is to enter the code, leaving at least a second or two between key presses. I'll look into this further.

Thanks for taking the time to cover the game, much appreciated! Hopefully you enjoyed it! I'll subscribe to your YouTube channel!

Thanks for the kind words about the audio and visual! The graphics for Episode 3 are already underway!

Your comment about it being a 'diversion' is exactly what I had in mind when I created the games, so thanks for confirming that!

Thank you very much for the donation, it is *very* much appreciated!

The game is indeed more of an adventure (which is why the description is RPG-lite) with puzzles rather than a full blown RPG.
I'll amend the description of the game above to reflect this as per your comments!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

Thanks for your comments.

Obviously the game was tested and can actually be completed without collecting additional water, food or money. I made sure of this while coding it as it was important to me.

Every few steps you lose strength, just as you would in real life, so excessive walking around will lead to you running out of energy quickly! Find a 'quick' route and stick to it! Check tree stumps and logs for food only as a last resort as you may get poisoned! Water wells are randomly populated each game restart.

Collect coins to buy armour and weapons - that *will* help save strength during battles.

Confession: there is a small bug in this version. If you purchase something from a shop but then die, when restarting the shop will always be empty. Please download Episode 2 (also free) and V1.1 of this Episode 1 is selectable from the disk menu where this shop bug doesn't happen.

Any other questions, please just ask!

Thanks for the kind comment and for taking the time to make a video, much appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time to record a video! Always fascinating to see others play the games I create! Hope you enjoy playing - a little tip, it sometimes helps to repeat out loud the safe tile colours!

Thanks for the kind words! I *really* appreciate the donation, very kind thank you!

Thanks for the kind comment! I'm currently coding a further sequel, CHILL3R, which will be released in the first half of 2024 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Mastertronic game. CHILL3R is more advanced, with multi-screen levels and more things to explore and collect.
