I can't complete the Akane Bunny fight

The android controls just make it so hard to complete, is there a way to skip it or something?

Yes, in the bunny manor go to the room on the top left and buy it.

Did you complete the Minerva quest to unlock the dive ability?

When you select your item menu, at the top there should be 2 buttons, one will say "Item" and "Key Item". Select "Item" and then your items will pop up, from there you just select the item you need.

I'm not fully sure how I got mine to work since it's been a bit, but I think there should be an action button that pops on the screen that you need to spam 

You need an ability given to you, just keep complete Mary and/or Evelyne's stories

Try going to your room at night and rest, don't select sleep. I believe you should wake up in the night by a cutscene.
