I recently set up the ChatGPT API in game maker, and I am working on a project that is designed like an MMO but all of the other players are actually bots. I have set up a fake in game chat and will implement different npc states based on keywords in chat conversations the player has with the NPC.
I have some experience designing a genetic algorithm, but not in game maker, and I want to be able to make convincing fake players. If anyone has done something like that or thinks it sounds doable let me know. Other suggestions would also be welcome if you think there is a way to achieve a convincing fake MMO that is convincing without using Genetic algorithms or Neural networks.
