Mouldy Strawberry

A simple BASIC game.

Collect the red strawberries, if you hit a green mouldy strawberry you have to start again.  Once all the red strawberries are collected the cream will appear, get to the cream to complete the game.

.Another pure BASIC game created on The Spectrum from Retro Games Ltd, this was originally set to be the 5th level that was dropped from my 'Speccy' Platform game,  i've made a few changes and have turned it in to a standalone game.  Carrying on the theme with, yes, a desired taste i know! There are no UDGs, which will upset the flavour of some, i'm sure, but! that is the theme of this 'Speccy' game series, as no doubt I will probably create more like it.  In this one, you basically have to guide 'Speccy' through a changing maze and disable the camera, which will release a diamond whilst being pursued by Police, crushing walls, and electrocution   How many diamonds can you collect?!  

UPDATE, If you would prefer UDGs, I have created a different version which is also available on the download option, also as a bonus i've changed it to 5 lifes,  enjoy!!!

WOW!! Thank you TJ for reviewing my game it's very much appreciated.   I did an experiment yesterday with 2 different Android emulators and the speed adjustment settings worked well on the game, so happy days! May the Speccy live on. 😆 

Hi T.J,  watching you create this game inspired me too to give game making a go, i have just released my first game on itch, it's a platform game written in BASIC it's called "Speccy", check it out if you get the chance.  Thank you.

SPECCY,   a platform game created using ZX Spectrum BASIC programmed on The Spectrum from Retro Games Ltd.

The idea of the game is to guide "Speccy" through the levels collecting the coins to buy the missing colours to complete the Spectrums rainbow logo.
