I personally think that if your character is somewhere they arent supposed to be, and it has that lonely vibe (or survival themes) then I think it counts! I love abstract theme matching <3

This is a passion project we (myself and VexPhoenics) started late October/early November 2022. We set a deadline for the end of November to challenge ourselves- let's see if we make it!

Just a fun idea for the new year! I decided to make a jam themed around "castaway" because I've been obsessed with Lost in Blue right now and it's sunny Summer here in Australia :)

The jam starts at 11:11am November 25th 2022 and ends at 1:11pm January 25th 2023.  (Timezone is AEDT, just thought the times would be fun hehe)

Create something - a game, visual novel, prose, a zine, anything - based on the 'castaway' theme. This could be a deserted island, the arctic, the actual desert- or something more abstract, like a feeling. If you think it fits, go for it! 

Existing projects that suit the theme of the jam are welcome to be submitted! Feel free to update after the jam period if you like. 

Try to play other submissions; it's what we are here to share <3
