I’ve never really done writing for this sort of thing myself, most of my writing practice is from roleplay forums and the work I’m doing on my novel, but I am flexible enough in my writing to make the shift from novel to visual novel. Storyboarding and creativity in writing are probably my favorite things.

As the title says, I'm a writer looking to build a portfolio so I can reasonably become more proficient and take on more professional gigs. Currently I don't have any sort of professional work under my belt, but I am writing my own novel and I make chatbots when I get bored. Creative writing is a passion of mine and always has been. So realistically I'd love to join a team or project and have creative freedom while still sticking to the original idea/plot that someone wants.

Obviously I'm not going to come in here as a fresh greenhorn looking for paid work off the bat. While it is probably preferred, I know that to build a portfolio it would be best to start as a volunteer/freelancer. When you say looking for collaboration on the story, are you looking for writers as well? I couldn't figure out how to DM on here, but if so I am interested in this.
