this feels unintentional but the alraune can eat enemies that the player has grabbed and enemies that are in the air (such as zombies that have been tossed up SPECIFICALLY SO THEY WOULDN'T BE EATEN)

while I don't particularly mind waiting longer for updates since it means they'll be more refined, maybe remove the 'The game will be updated on the first Saturday of each month.' line from the description since it's misleading and will likely cause a lot of confusion

I don't think this game is intended to be explicit but aside from that these seem like some pretty good ideas

played a bit of the new update and I can confirm that this was absolutely worth the wait, well done!

just asking this here because it hasn't been answered on the Monchin Merger page, are you planning on ever returning to it? Or are you solely dedicating yourself to this game at this point? Sorry if it sounds like I'm being impatient, but there haven't even been any mentions of your plans for updates for Monchin Merger lately

how is the dancing idle anim a negative???

I know about that, that's not what I'm talking about. what I'm talking about is this: I feed a unit several other units to raise the bond level, I save the game, I close the game, I reopen the game and load the save, and the bond level is reset to 1. I rarely if ever even enter combat mode. when looking at the save file with a text editor, there is a saved 'level' stat for the unit that is equal to what I got the bond level to, but again, when I load the save the bond level is reset to 1this is before saving,

this is the save file after saving and closing the game,

and this is the same unit after loading the save file

(1 edit)

for some reason unit levels don't seem to save properly, I checked the save file itself and it seems to have the unit's level but when I load the save in the game the unit is reset back to level 1 (talking about bond level not the combat level)

something I noticed is that it seems like there's no way to gain items after you've opened every chest and stump and you've taken every fruit, and the only real incentive for battling is getting more monsters, one idea I had was maybe adding some way of obtaining items from battles, possibly with only a small chance to get items to still incentivize exploration first

I hope the creator does eventually upload the source files because this seems like it could end up being a really great game if someone decides to continue it
