I figured it out. If anyone is wondering, you need to open your inventory with space and drag the needed item onto wherever it is needed. Now my only problem is remembering where I initially found Lewdy...

When I'm trying to return Lewdy, it says I need lewdy, even though I already have him. I have the same problem with the condom machine. Is there a way to select a certain item to use?

I saw that there used to be a game called lewdest labrynth, but that page is gone. From some footage I can find, the old version was definitely lewder. I love this game but I want to properly experience its predecessor and I can't find a lewd version anywhere :(
