Hi. Any chance of a DarkSoft compatible ROM?

Instructions to build them are here: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/how-to-convert-files-to-work-with-neogeo-multi.24393/

Peace

As a software developer of 30+ years, I would like to add that being 'nit picking or OCD' is how you fix bugs and reach a complete project. Returning to a complex project years later for an update isn't as fun as it sounds!

"A lot of effort went into getting this even more visually accurate than my previous port..." To me, this reads that pointing out the background isn't blue-morning but instead orange-evening could be extremely significant. There is no mention of this change in the release notes. As a result, I to would assume it's an overlooked bug.

Your comments were respectful, detailed, and informative. What the developer decides to do is up to them and xchester77 shouldn't be speaking for someone else.

Peace.

Hi. The DarkSoft ROM works great on the Analogue Pocket. Thank you! For anyone wondering, I used 2020 Super Baseball.json as a donor for this port.

The included readme is still geared towards the Shinobi release and contains info for that port.

Cheers!

Hi. Thanks! This is fun and brings back a lot of memories. My only issues is the intro text, it scrolls way to fast. I just don't read that fast. My brain just can not comprehend and I feel like I'm missing out on a major part of the story. Cheers.

Thanks. It turns out some .json files have other info associated with them (like audio offsets). I do not have the ability to run the python script to build .json files for the core. I ended up finding a basic .json that would work. I think I used 2020bb. Cheers and thanks for the assurances.

How? I do not understand. I tried to use an existing .json but it did not work.
